The Black Fund granted 25 Black-led and Black-serving nonprofits working to support the growth, economic mobility and wellness of Black people across five impact areas. Community Power-Building for Birth and Parenting Justice
The Community Power-Building for Birth and Parenting Justice grant supports the work of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color)-led grassroots groups doing a wide range of birth/parenting justice work with proven results. In 2023, they awarded Delivering Unto You (DUY) for its birth justice work, which is contributing to a shift in narrative and change in mainstream culture as it pertains to birth work.
Creating a Perinatal Safe Zone
In 2021 and 2022, St. David’s Foundation recognized Delivering Unto You (DUY) as a perinatal safe zone who’s services help to reduce maternal mortality. Click here to learn more.
